Dr. Lyne Scott
Dr. Scott is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics (USC Keck School of Medicine), Allergy and Immunology Division Chief, Allergy and Immunology Fellowship Training Program Director, and Director of the Breathmobile Program at LAC+USC Medical Center.  Dr. Scott has extensive knowledge regarding the infrastructure of the Breathmobile Program, implementation of disease management principles in asthma disease tracking, and outcomes results for the Breathmobile Program. Dr. Scott has participated in several peer-reviewed publications describing findings of the LAC+USC Breathmobile Program and is the lead author on a collaborative manuscript describing outcomes for Breathmobile Programs across the country. She has received funding from National Institutes of Health for health disparities research. Her interests include improving access to effective asthma care for children in Los Angeles.
Dr. Marilyn Li
Dr. Li is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics (USC Keck School of Medicine), Section Chief Outpatient Services of Allergy and Immunology Division, Allergy and Immunology Fellowship Training Program Assistant Director and Co-Director of the Breathmobile Program at LAC+USC Medical Center.  Dr. Li  is an Ambassador for the Breathmobile Program, presenting asthma disease management principles, at various local, state, and national meetings. Her interests include improving patients understanding of asthma and their medications.

Healthcare Providers:

Dr. Salima Thobani
Dr. Thobani is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (USC Keck School of Medicine) and Section Chief of Community Education and Outreach for the Division of Allergy and Immunology.  She provides ongoing asthma care to patients in the LACUSC hospital-based clinics and the Breathmobiles.  Dr. Thobani is an active member of several national asthma and allergy organizations. She has presented her research findings nationally.  She takes pleasure in teaching and enjoys clinical research in asthma and respiratory health in the adult and pediatric populations.  She currently is evaluating factors that contribute to uncontrolled asthma for inner city patients.
Dr. Tania Kimia
Dr. Kimia is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (USC Keck School of Medicine) and Breathmobile physician. During the course of her education and career, she has received multiple teaching awards for excellence. Dr. Kimia is an active member of several local, state, and national asthma and allergy organizations.  Her research interests are asthma as a chronic disease, urticaria (hives), and food allergies.  She enjoys establishing long-term treatment relationships with her patients.
Susana Rangel, RN, FNP-C
Susana Rangel is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and licensed by the state of California to provide family-centered healthcare to patients of all ages. Her scope of practice encompasses health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis and management of common and complex health care problems beginning in childhood and continuing throughout the aging process. She began her career in health care as a registered nurse working with vulnerable populations. Since that time, she has accumulated nearly eighteen years of nursing experience and education in patient care, public health and practicing as a nurse practitioner. Susana has a strong nursing skill set and strives to provide the best health care possible. She believes in building a long lasting and trusting relationships with patients and families. She seeks to acquire a comprehensive evaluation of every patient by taking time to listen and understand their particular needs. Her goal is to deliver care in collaborative manner forming a partnership with patients and families.
Dr. Kenny Kwong
Dr. Kwong is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics (Los Angeles County + University of Southern California Medical Center), Section Chief of Research and Grants- Allergy and Immunology Division, and former Division Chief of Harbor UCLA Allergy and Immunology. Dr. Kwong has worked with the Breathmobile Program since its inception in 1995. He is the recipient of several grants from National Institutes of Health and private foundations. Areas of expertise include pediatric asthma disease management principles, neonatal lung development, and health outcomes research related to asthma and chronic diseases. He has over 35 publications including research outcomes involving asthma control and air pollution.
Lessette Cetto, RN, MSN, CPNP
Lessette Cetto is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. She completed her Masters of Science in Nursing with a specialty in Pediatrics, at California State University, Los Angeles, and completed her clinical rotations at Children’s Hospital, Los Angeles. She provides comprehensive asthma education and therapy to patients and their families. Her interests include providing access to preventive asthma care for under served children in order to enhance their quality of life. She also enjoys empowering families through education to improve their health outcomes.
